(Download to really see the greatness of my coloring. OTL)

(I keep on wanting to call her Lucy and I don't know why. Elfen Lied, perhaps? OTL)

The colored versions of the sketches of :iconlazy-bing:'s character Lily. It looks incredibly neat -- bar the smudge on the hand on the right and the deformed hand on the left -- thanks to my wonderful light pad (which I just decided will be named Atsui; you weebs should be laughing right now). I keep forgetting that the colored multiliners don't dry right away like the Copic ones do and I always touch them before they dry, hence the smudge. The deformity was just me being a derp and trying to make fingers and failing. OTL

The coloring process for this was...well, actually, kind of an interesting story. Lavi had given me an idea of the colors he wanted for the shirt over Skype a few days before I started coloring it, and I was like "PSSH, I HAVE LIKE EVERY RV COLOR UNDER THE SUN, I'LL TOTALLY HAVE THIS VIOLET AND MAGENTA HE WANTS," so I just lined the shirt with my pink and violet liners. Sure enough, I didn't have the right colors. The magenta ended up being pretty much hot pink, and the closest thing I had to the kind of gray-violet that was kinda red was a grayish-purple BV. The yellow for the skirt/shirt was also not as light as I had hoped -- was still basing it off Kagura's shirt -- and making the shoes white meant only some gray shading and left them looking largely unfinished and kinda tacky (besides the fact that I can't draw shoes to save my life). I ALSO realized halfway through doing the shirt on the left that the left arm was illogically thin, so I tried to fix it with liners, hence why it looks so ew. The only coloring that seemed to go okay was the skin, which on the left's legs and the right's arm blended really nicely.

Oh, the checkering on the right went a little haywire. I tried to make it alternating so it actually looked checkered, but at first I didn't think right so it looks more like it's striped near the bottom. It's also kind of hard to tell that there's two knees in that picture, which I tried to fix it by darkening the lines, but alas, it didn't work and started to damage the paper. The shading also had colors bleeding into one another and there's some odd blotches here and there. (At the time, I didn't care too much, though, since the right one I don't like all that much.)

AND BEHOLD, THE WONDERS OF OPAQUE WHITE. I finally got a bottle of the Copic brand at the con, so now I don't have to worry about leaving a white space for the eyes anymore; I can add it on after. :3 Of course, for some reason, it looks so...unnatural to me. I'm working on making them a little less odd. The extra smaller dot is helping, but it's hard to make it a tiny dot...

Ah, the hair. I didn't think of doing the fancy strands thing I did with Terrance until, well, I did Terrance (which I did after this, just hadn't uploaded it), so I tried doing that weird circle-triangle-should-be-a-highlight-not-a-shadow thing that you see in some anime. I JUST realized it's supposed to be a highlight not a shadow. No wonder it looks weird. :/

Overall, the left is nice and the right is decent. The different-shaped eyes thing keeps happening and I'm not sure why, and the color confusion made some issues happen, and the weird hands are irritating, but they still came out at least presentable. And I added blush to make her look cuter on the left! That's gotta count for something, right?

Took about an hour -- half an hour each -- spanned over a couple days, using Straedtler triplus fineliners, Copic Multiliners, Copic Sketch markers, and Copic opaque white.
